Editorial team responsibilities

The editorial team is committed to:

  • Ensuring an impartial peer review process

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts

  • Making decisions based on academic criteria

  • Avoiding conflicts of interest

  • Safeguarding the scientific and editorial quality of the journal

Citation Policy

The journal promotes ethical and relevant citation practices.

Coercive citation and the manipulation of bibliometric indicators are not permitted.

References must be relevant, up to date, and directly related to the content of the manuscript.

Internationalization

The journal promotes the participation of authors, reviewers, and committee members from different regions and countries.

The primary language of the journal is Spanish. The journal progressively encourages publication in English and Portuguese, with abstracts provided in at least two languages.

Funding
The journal is funded by the Núcleo de Historia Social Popular. It does not receive external funding or generate income from article processing charges (APCs), advertising, or other commercial sources.

Advertising Policy

The journal does not accept commercial advertising that interferes with editorial independence.

In cases where institutional funding exists, it does not influence editorial decisions or the content published.
