Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and comply with the following guidelines:

General Format

  • Page size: letter
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Font: Arial, size 12
  • Standard margins
  • Justified text
  • Continuous pagination

The maximum length depends on the type of contribution and includes notes, tables, figures, and references.

Authorship Information

The manuscript must be submitted anonymized, without any information that may identify the author(s) in the text or in the file properties.

Authorship information must be provided in a separate file and include:

  • Full name
  • Academic degree
  • Institutional affiliation (department, institution, city, country)
  • Email address
  • ORCID identifier (mandatory)

Authors must also indicate whether the article derives from a research project, specifying the funding institution and, when applicable, the project number.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript must be organized in the following order:

  • Title in Spanish
  • Title in English
  • Abstract in Spanish (150–200 words), clearly stating objectives, methodological approach, sources, and main results
  • Keywords in Spanish (3 to 6), preferably selected from recognized thesauri (e.g., UNESCO Thesaurus)
  • Abstract in English (150–200 words), equivalent in content to the Spanish abstract
  • Keywords in English (3 to 6)
  • Introduction
  • Main body, organized into sections and subsections
  • Conclusions
  • References

Style and Writing

The manuscript must present clear, coherent, and precise academic writing, with consistent use of terminology and proper grammar and spelling.

Excessive use of footnotes should be avoided; they should be reserved for substantive clarifications that complement the main text.

Tables, Figures, and Images

  • Must be numbered consecutively (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.)
  • Must include title and source
  • Must be cited in the text
  • Images must be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any graphic material included in the manuscript.

Notes

Notes must appear as footnotes, numbered consecutively, and used only for relevant comments or clarifications.

Acknowledgements (optional)

Acknowledgements may be included in a brief section before the references. In the case of double-blind review, they must be added only in the final accepted version.
