Hobsbawm (La historia cambia y se acelera)
Abstract
Habiendo cerrado hace unos días la lectura de Años interesantes. Una vida en el siglo xx, en cuyas páginas Hobsbawm escribe la historia del siglo, que tan bien conoció, como autobiografía, pienso: ¿existirá una palabra que describa mejor a un historiador que esa: historiador? Pareciera que el estudio de la historia va grabando en la mente de quienes se disponen a ello una manera de pensar o, más bien, de mirar, de observar, velada por el tiempo.
