EditorialAbstract
This issue of REVUELTAS. Chilean Journal of Popular Social History brings together research articles, reviews, an in-depth interview, and the publication of two sources for popular social history in order to address, across different registers and scales, the precarization of labor, workers’ pedagogies, political violence, and state technologies of control. The volume makes it possible to reconstruct long-term processes in which inequality, subaltern memories, knowledge production, and social conflict intersect, configuring historical forms of popular politicization in settings that link university, trade unionism, rural worlds, and youth culture in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, and Central America.
