La cultura en el campo de las ideas (1973 - 1985): prácticas y discursos de la institucionalidad de la dictadura chilena y el movimiento artístico-cultural de resistencia (UNAC y CADA)
Keywords:
cultura, políticas culturales, dictadura cívico-militarAbstract
Researchers on cultural politics have not paid attention to the foundational ideas that, historically, have directed institutional decisions about culture. This article explores the conceptual delimitations of culture during the Chilean dictatorship. I will explore ideas around the concept of culture in artworks and discourses from both the Chilean dictatorship and counterculture groups, such as UNAC and CADA. By focusing on the interplay between practice and discourse, this paper analyses how cultural ideas have continued and changed throughout time, based on Gabriel Salazar's definition of culture-object and culture-subject.
