Abstract

The present article intends, from Koselleck’s conceptual history proposal, to carry out a comprehensive practice of the concept of ‘solidarity’ in the context of dictatorial Chile. The objective is to see how this concept manages, at the time, to transform from an index to a reality factor based on the appropriation, resignification, use and projection made by the popular sectors and, in particular, the movement of urban poor. To this end, various ‘popular bulletins’ edited by population organizations in Santiago and Valparaiso between 1983 and 1987 will be analyzed.
