The year 2015 the Communities in Resistance of Malleco after a long process of territorial demand before CONADI, take the decision to take the headquarters of this institution in the city of Temuco heart of the Wallmapu. After several weeks of negotiations with representatives of the Chilean State, the occupation of the building ended with a violent eviction. As a result of the above, the communities of the lower Malleco organized a Trawün or meeting in what was the former Chiguaihue fort and estate, in which it was decided, among other things, to set up a process of territorial reconstruction outside the state institutions. In the following work, it is established that from the Trawün of Chiguaihue, the senses and meanings around the territory of three communities of the lower Malleco sector are reconfigured, establishing a relationship between violence, memory and territory.
