This study examines children's involvement in the "Pueblazo," a popular uprising in a town in the interior of the Buenos Aires province at the end of the last Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983). This event is considered foundational for the democratic reconstruction of the community. Through photographs and memories, the analysis reflects on how children's practices, rather than being a small-scale reflection of adult actions, attitudes, and potentialities, reveal an emotional order with forms of participation that demonstrate a sense of the political and a clear desire to be involved.
