This article is about the different trajectories that come together in the founding of the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR). The purpose of this study is to analyze the ideas that underlie the practices and discourses of the different actors that are at the origins of the MIR, to account for the components that shaped its ideology. To do this, antecedents to the founding of the movement are identified, thus highlighting the founding of the Single Central of Workers, the formation of the Marxist Revolutionary Vanguard and the Popular Socialist Party.
